Ovarian Cancer in Australian Women

In February 2002, as part of the National Ovarian Cancer Week activities, the Ovarian Cancer Program published a new report Ovarian Cancer in Australian Women. The report highlights the need to take immediate action on ovarian cancer, the leading cause of death from gynaecological cancers in women in Australia. This marks the first time that data have been compiled Australia-wide and gives a basis for developing priorities in ovarian cancer control.
